Join our expanding radiation oncology department as a Senior Medical Dosimetrist. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge treatment planning technologies and contribute to the care of military service members and veterans.
You will be responsible for creating complex treatment plans for IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and brachytherapy cases. The role includes mentoring junior dosimetrists, participating in quality assurance programs, and collaborating with physicians and physicists to optimize treatment delivery.
Our clinic treats 50+ patients daily and features the latest Varian TrueBeam systems, Elekta Unity MR-Linac, and advanced planning systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dosimetrist seeking professional growth in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Requirements
• CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist) certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field
• 5+ years of clinical dosimetry experience
• Expert proficiency in Eclipse or Pinnacle treatment planning
• Extensive experience with IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT planning
• Knowledge of brachytherapy planning preferred
• Strong understanding of radiation physics and anatomy
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Public Trust clearance (or ability to obtain)
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
