We are seeking a Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our team at a premier military medical center. This position involves oversight of all diagnostic imaging modalities including CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy, with a focus on quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will develop and implement QA programs, perform acceptance testing and commissioning of new equipment, conduct radiation safety surveys, and provide technical consultation to radiologists and technologists. • ABR board certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics • PhD in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field preferred • 3+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging physics • Expertise in CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine QA • Knowledge of ACR accreditation requirements • Familiarity with regulatory standards (ACR, TJC, FDA) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with dose optimization and radiation safety • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Active or ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance • U.S. citizenship required
